The Grand Junction Police Department is looking for leads to help them find a woman who has been missing for over a week.

[UPDATE: October 8] The Grand Junction Police Department reports Heather Fullerton has been found and is safe.

[ORIGINAL: October 7] Heather Fullerton was last seen leaving a Grand Junction homeless shelter on September 27 and has not been seen nor heard from since.

Fullerton failed to show up for work and has not contacted family or friends. She also left her belongings at the shelter.

The Grand Junction Police Department says Fullerton is 28 years old, 6 feet tall, weighs approximately 160 pounds and has red hair and hazel eyes.
