#1 Place to Go Hiking this Weekend: Hanging Lake
I haven't been to Hanging Lake yet, but I hear (and see) great things. Turquoise water, waterfalls, and hanging gardens sound like a gorgeous hike to me. Hanging Lakes is Grand Junction number one place to go hiking this weekend. I'll just be sure to make a reservation before I go.
#2 Place to Go Hiking this Weekend: Rifle Falls
Grand Junction's second place to go hiking this weekend is Rifle Falls. I've got two words for you -- triple waterfalls. There's plenty of greenery, three waterfalls and even limestone caves to explore. Rifle Falls was a close second to Hanging Lake.
