Grand Junction bars COULD stay open all night.

It's not exactly separation of church and state, but this bill does give Colorado cities and towns their own choice on when bars and restaurants that serve alcohol have to close.

Liz Sinclair, owner of Charlie Dwellington's, downtown Grand Junction, told KKCO NEWS that she thinks it's a good idea, to at least have the option and opportunity, to make those decisions for ourselves.

Colorado, right now, cannot serve alcohol from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. If Grand Junction decides to take advantage of this bill, known as House Bill 1123, those establishments would be allowed to stay open 24 hours.

Time for your thoughts. Would this benefit anyone? Are there any advantages to these businesses staying open 24 hours?
