Keith Urban knows great music when he hears it. Last week, members of a Grand Junction band made the pilgrimage to Denver and paid a visit with Keith Urban backstage at Fiddler's Green. Take a look behind the scenes.

Bob Sours, rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist from Grand Junction's Desert Flyer Band had a chance to spend some quality time backstage with Keith Urban, Brett Eldredge, and Maren Morris, during the Ripcord World Tour stop at Fiddler's.

Did the band get to talk shop with Keith? A little. Does the Desert Flyer Band dig Keith Urban and his music? YOU BETCHA!

Before the show, the group made the rounds, checking out Keith's entourage. Listen to Bob in the background expressing his amazement at the number of semi's used for the Ripcord World Tour.

Did you notice how sparkling clean those 18-wheelers were? Kudos to the person in charge of Keith's fleet of vehicles.

Insofar as the rest of Desert Flyer Band's experience at the show, the breakdown is as follows:

  • Keith Urban = Awesome
  • Brett Eldredge = Awesome
  • Maren Morris = Awesome
  • Fiddler's Green Amphitheater = Awesome
  • Ripcord World Tour = Awesome
  • Band guys getting to hang around with Keith Urban and crew = Awesome

Overall Score = Awesome

If you didn't already know it, Keith Urban is AWESOME! He puts on a killer show, expresses his sincere appreciation to his fans, and goes out of his way to connect with other hummers and strummers.

You still have a chance to win a trip to see Keith Urban in New Orleans. Registration ends Friday, July 29, at 10 p.m, so you best be for putting a wiggle in it.
