The show must go on they say. That is what the Grand Junction Air Show is hoping for today.

After a mix of clouds, rain and lightning forced the cancellation of Saturday's performances, things are gearing back up for today (Sunday).

A quick check of the weather looks somewhat favorable. According to KKCO, there will be some clouds but only a slight chance of rain.

A quick reminder that if you only had tickets to Saturday, don't worry. All tickets will be accepted for today (Sunday's) performance. If you had print-at-home tickets, you can reprint those. Those who got their tickets online, received by email or held at will call, can be picked up at the ticket booth today. However, there will be no refunds for Saturday's canceled show.

Gates will open at 8:30 a.m with the air show to kick off at 10 a.m. Officials are strongly encouraging spectators to carpool. Because of the weather, many of the surrounding airport parking lots are not usable because of the rain. There are also free shuttle buses running from Lincoln Park and Canyon View Park. Please be advised that these shuttles will only run between 8 a.m.- 11 a.m. and then in the afternoon from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Also, Itellitech College is offering its parking lot for $5 a car. Plus, HopeWest, Gramiger Holdings, and Rocky Mountain Health Plans parking lots are available.
