Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park To Open New THRILL Ride

Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park is opening a new THRILL ride this summer of 2017.

9NEWS in Denver reports that a new ride at Glenwood Caverns has been named one of the 'Most Anticipated Theme Park Rides of 2017.' by USA Today. It's called the Haunted Mine Drop. Good gravy, my heart just dropped. GULP!

Here's a brief description of what the Haunted Mine Drop will do:

'drop you underground, down a mine shaft 120 feet'

You also have to remember this is located on top of Iron Mountain at 7,000 feet elevation. Who's up for this?

The video also talks about some other additions and improvements to the park for 2017. Those include an all new private rental space for family or company parties, new and unproved walking surface, a large water feature at the entrance and much more seating and available shaded areas.
