Beginning Wednesday, looks like Easter in the Grand Junction area is officially underway. Here are some events for you and your family to take in this blessed Holiday.

We have to start with the Fruita Easter Egg Scramble, of course. This year it is on Wednesday, March 23 beginning at 4 p.m. at the Fruita Community Center. They suggest you get there early as the egg hunt begins at 4 p.m. Plus, the Easter Bunny will be there.

Looking ahead to Easter weekend, Saturday, March 26, you can begin the day at 10 a.m. with a pancake breakfast at the Victory Life Church in Fruita. Bring the whole family because afterwards at 11 a.m. there will be an egg hunt, along with Bumps N Jumps, candy, fun and more.

Then on Sunday 10 a.m. at the Western Colorado Botanical Gardens, the Easter Bunny will make another appearance. Make sure to bring your own baskets as there will be an egg hunt beginning at 11 a.m.
