Fruita Asking for Help Determining Future of Sewer Treatment Lagoons

What exactly does a town do with sewer treatment lagoons and the area around them it no longer uses?

That's the question facing Fruita and city leaders are betting the residents, business owners, and users of the Riverfront Trail in the area have the answer.

The city is asking for input through a survey to see what people what like to see in the undeveloped areas around the lagoons located near the Colorado River at the west end of Raptor Road.

Results of the survey will be used to create a conceptual master development plan for the area. That plan will be used to guide possible future development for the area. Deadline to take the survey is August 9.
