Today marks the first Friday the 13th this year. Anyone scared?

Will the evil spirits come out and rain bad luck on you today? Beware of black cats and crazed-people wearing hockey masks.

Speaking of Friday the 13th, let's take a look back at some the Grand Junction area's most scary events, places, and things:

This one has always intrigued me. The infamous Fruita Vampire.

Will the vampire finally reappear on this day of evil?

How about some UFO videos shot right here in Grand Junction? Is this enough proof?

Last year I scoured Grand Junction for your suggestions on the area's most haunted places. There were some incredible places I visited and toured, but the one that stood out was the Elks Lodge downtown Grand Junction. Boy, what a vibe to that building. I even got go upstairs to the private conference room. There were some great haunting stories as well. The piano still makes me shiver.
