Development Engineer

$6,257.33 – $7,196.80 month

The Grand Junction Police Department provides a full range of high-quality police services, including a motorcycle unit, K9s, bomb squad, crime lab, university campus policing, SWAT team, drug task force, and a regional communications center.



Seasonal Parks Maintance Operations

$9.30 – $15.74 Hourly



How about a seasonal gig? This one pretty much involves mowing, watering, and pruning. There’s also cleaning involved.



Seasonal Sports Offical

$9.30 – $15.74 hr



Looking for a chance to be a referee at a sporting event and get paid for it? Here you go. You’re looking at what could be up to a 12-hour commitment per week. You must be able to work nights and weekends.

Senior Administrative Assistant

$18.96 – $20.93 hr



This seems a bit vague. What’s involved? Put simply, applicants must be able to:

  • Research, analyze, and compile financial data
  • Develop and monitor budget information for the division prepare and proofread a variety of financial reports, letters, and memos for internal use and public distribution
  • Provide customer service support in addressing taxpayer questions and concerns
  • Greet visitors, answer the telephone and direct callers
  • Provide general information and assistance to City staff and the public
  • Maintain calendars and schedule meetings and events
  • Design and produce newsletters, brochures, and other specialized documents
