Five Best Sandwiches in the Grand Junction — Britton’s Picks
During a recent conversation with a guy from back east, we somehow started talking about sandwiches. We both agreed that there isn't a really good place in town to get a Philly Cheese Steak. Especially when you're from back east. This got me thinking, what are the best sandwiches in the Grand Junction. Here is my 5 favorite.

J's Philly Steaks
This is almost as close as you'll get to a Philly Steak from back east. A little over priced but still done the way they do it in Philly.

Nick N Willy's Italiano Classico
This Italiano Classic sandwich is on a Foccacia bread with pepperoni, salami, Canadian bacon, olives, onions, tomatoes and provolone. Plus they put romaine on it, but it's good with spinach instead. All topped off with Italian dressing and a pepperocini.

Flyin Rooster's Philly Cheese Steak
This bad boy comes with mushrooms, onions, peppers and provolone cheese. Add a cup of Aju and it hits the spot just right. Plus you get a side of beer fries with fry sauce.

Palisade Brewing Company Reuben
These guys know exactly how to make a Reuben. I don't know if you knew this but they smoke just about everything they can out there. This is a mouth watering Reuben that you must try with smoked pastrami, sauerkraut, 1000 Island on a Marble Rye.

Papa Kelsey's Executioner
The Executioner has everything on it you could imagine, but the flavors aren't too over powering. This one sandwich could feed a family of four. It has pepperoni, sausage, ham, turkey, roast beef, Canadian bacon, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, olives, green peppers, banana peppers, grated cheese, Swiss cheese, pineapple and mayo on a fresh baked hoagie.
