Family Calls 911 After Getting Lost in Corn Maze [VIDEO]

What is the proper protocol when one finds themselves lost in a corn maze? Apparently, a call to 911 is in order. Do you remember when this family called 911 after being lost for hours in a corn maze in Massachusetts?

Two things go hand in hand with the transition from Summer to Autumn: Pumpkin Spiced Latte' and corn mazes. Where corn mazes are concerned, one of the objectives is to get lost. They wouldn't be much fun if you knew the way out, now would they?

In this case, the family took the "getting lost" part a bit too literally. Granted, these mazes are challenging, but rest assured, they do come with an exit.

Officers were dispatched, along with a K-9 unit. Following about seven minutes of "Marco Polo", or in this case, "Hello, K-9", the family was found.

The family of four managed to remain lost for an hour past closing time at the maze. As it turns out, they were only about 25 feet from the entrance the entire time.
