A reporter was doing a live report from the DC Natural History Museum when a rare African Moon Moth decided to lay eggs in his ear. His ear was not the only place the moth decided was a good place to lay eggs. This video from CNN shows some of the issues that insects can cause for reporters on the air. But they usually don't use the reporter as a breeding ground. Not only did the moth "mate" with the reporter, but she also was fond of the curator. As they were leaving the exhibit, they noticed the moth had laid two eggs in each of their ears.  It is not the grossest thing that could have happened, but still not a great comfort factor here.
