‘Hawgs For Dawgs’ Poker Run Benefiting Roice-Hurst Humane Society

Grand Junction Harley-Davidson will host an over the Mesa poker run, and after-ride event for riders and the public, on Sat., June 28 to benefit the homeless pets at Roice-Hurst Humane Society. Rider sign-up begins at 9:00 a.m. at the dealership, 2747 Crossroads Blvd.

Bikes out at 10:00 a.m. Cost is $15 per person, $25 per couple, and $5 for extra hands.

First place wins $200, second place $100, and worst hand is worth $50.

Everyone is invited to the after-ride event from noon to 3:00 p.m., which will feature a barbeque and live music by The Instagators.

Suggested donation is $10, with all proceeds benefiting the nonprofit shelter and adoption center. Roice-Hurst will have a booth selling T-shirts and other merchandise.

Grand Junction resident Big Rem, one of the world's largest Great Danes, will be on-site with his own pop-up tent. Everyone is welcome to take pictures with Big Rem for a donation to Roice-Hurst.
