Many of your favorite Western Colorado ski resorts will be up and running when the Thanksgiving weekend rolls around. Wouldn't it be great to be among the first to hit the slopes on opening day? Here's the breakdown.

In most cases, you'll be able to ski on Thanksgiving, and in one case, the day before. In the event you can't get time off that early, at least you'll be all set when the four-day weekend rolls around.

Here's a list from the website Events In Colorado featuring Western Slope ski resorts which will be operational in time for Thanksgiving.
