There is a recall for specific Duncan Hines cake mixes over concerns of Salmonella.
I love making cakes and in my pantry is cake mix, so go through your pantry and cupboards and make sure you do not have any of these four Duncan Hines cake mixes. It is possible they could be contaminated.
Look for Classic White, Classic Butter Golden, Signature Confetti, and Classic Yellow, all with specific "best by" dates. Put them in the garbage, or if you can return them. It is better safe than sorry.

Salmonella was found in a retail sample of Duncan Hines Classic cake mix, and that sample may be linked to an outbreak being investigated. Right now it is a preventative measure.
