Chalk Art Adorns Downtown Grand Junction [PHOTOS]

If you don't spend much time downtown Grand Junction you might miss the fun shenanigans by local artists. Check out some of the great chalk art that appeared downtown on Tuesday (May 27).

While out for one of our nightly walks with my dog Rocky, we stumbled upon this chalk art in the alley on Main Street between 6th and 7th Streets. What caught my attention was the message "Draw Something" and an arrow pointing down the alley and of course I just had to follow the arrow.

On more than one occasion, I've stumbled upon people creating masterpieces on the sidewalks with chalk, this by far is the biggest piece I've seen.

It's a good thing I grabbed some pictures, after walking by this morning all the art was wiped away.
