There's always someone out there trying to make a buck under false pretenses and it's happening in Breckenridge.

The annual Breckenridge International Snow Sculpture Championships are being held later this month and there are no tickets available for those that want to view the sculptures. That's because they don't sell tickets for this event. There is no admission charge - as in free. It's absolutely free to attend.

Apparently, there are social media posts advertising "cheap" tickets available for sale. Unsuspecting sculpture lovers may be duped into paying money for something that is actually free.

The sculpting gets underway on January 21, and viewing week is January 21-25. There will be a total of 16 amazing sculptures created out of snow by international teams of 4 sculptors - and no power tools are allowed. It's a totally cool event you can attend - just don't be tempted to buy tickets.
