On Tuesday Firefighters had to rescue a person and two cats after a home tipped because of the high winds.  Tiny homes have their upsides no pun intended. The cost to live in one is much less expensive than a traditional 1200 square foot home. But one thing to think about is, will it stay upright during a blizzard and strong winds.

The Cripple Creek Fire Department shared photos of the damage on its Facebook page Tuesday morning. A Tiny Home toppled over because of the strong winds and brought it down sideways.

If you are thinking about getting a Tiny Home these are some things to think about and whether it needs to be tethered down.
