It's been 30 years since "Dirty Dancing" was in Grand Junction - and now it's back on the big screen!

When it comes to "Dirty Dancing", ladies immediately think of dance instructor Johnny Castle, played by Patrick Swayze. For guys, the first thought is more likely to be Baby Houseman, played by Jennifer Grey.

For others, memories of "Dirty Dancing" are mostly about the incredible soundtrack, which spent an amazing 18 weeks at #1 on the album sales chart. The album features great songs like "She's Like the Wind" by Patrick Swayze, "Hungry Eyes" by Eric Carmen, and the Oscar-winning theme song "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" by Jennifer Warnes and Bill Medley.

For those like myself, who did not see "Dirty Dancing" on the big screen, we are getting a second chance, as the film celebrates its 30th anniversary. I must have been to busy trying to graduate from college.

The movie will be shown in a very limited engagement at Grand Junction's Regal Canyon View Stadium 14 on Sunday, January 29 and Wednesday, February 1 at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

So if you missed "Dirty Dancing" on the big screen the first time around, or you love the music and think it would be fun to experience it all again, if  you think it would be cool to experience it all again,  here's your chance!
