It's another exciting Deltarado Days Celebration as the city of Delta celebrates for the 82nd time.

Thursday through Sunday, the city of Delta celebrates in a variety of ways with special events, music, and games.

Delta is not a large town, but they certainly know how to throw a party and Deltarado Days is one of the best festivals on the Western Slope.

I have been a part of the car show at Deltarado Days for 14 of the last 15 years, and it's a very special treat each year. The car show happens on Saturday starting at 10:00 a.m. at Confluence Park, presented by Hellman Motor Company and the Delta Streetrodders.  The day starts with a pancake breakfast at 7 a.m., served by the Delta High School Junior Class, and then a BBQ lunch at 11 a.m.

What is really cool about this year's Deltarado Days celebration is that the organizers have moved most of the events to Confluence Park, so it brings everything together for a huge ongoing celebration.

Highlights of the festival include a street dance, a corn hole tournament, horseshoe tournament, 5K, parade, carriage rides, and a lot more. Plus, of course, the big car show on Saturday.

You don't have to be from the Delta area to enjoy Deltarado Days, so if you aren't doing anything this weekend, make the short drive to Delta for some great family fun.

Here is a great Grand Valley hike!
