Crime Stoppers of Mesa County is asking for help identifying a person who stole merchandise from a Grand Junction convenience store.

The theft happened on Saturday, January 6 around 5 a.m. at the Corner Store located at 599 29 1/2 Road.

Store security cameras show the suspect is a 30-year-old white male. At the time of the theft he was wearing a black long-sleeved jacket and a black baseball cap with the logo 'Thrasher' in flames.

The suspect was driving a black late 1990's to early 2000's Ford Mustang with grey rocker panels.

If you know the identity of the suspect please contact Crime Stoppers of Mesa County at 970-241-7867. All information given can be done anonymously and if it leads to an arrest, will earn the person providing the information a cash reward of up to $1,000.
