But what if you are one of the people who enjoys a true small town experience?I did some investigation to find out where some of the smallest towns in Colorado were located. I found 4 in our immediate area. So if you enjoy small town living and lifestyle, you will enjoy getting to know these towns.

City-Data has compiled a list of towns that all have a population of fewer than 1000 people.

Within a short driving distance, I found 4 towns that made the list. Crawford, with a population of only 420, DeBeque population 502, Colbran population 705, and Hotchkiss population 923.

Want even smaller? According to City-Data, the smallest town in the state of Colorado is Timpas. With a population of 201 people. Timpas tops the list! Following right behind is Phippsburg, Colorado with a population of 204. Sedalia, Colorado comes in at 206.

So there you go! Small yet very vital towns in Colorado that you can enjoy and visit! You never know, maybe one day you will increase the population of these towns by becoming a resident!
