Colorado Parks and Wildlife has issued a reminder for pet owners to keep their dogs away from wildlife. These GRUESOME photos of a calf in Steamboat that suffered from an attack won't leave you wondering why.

According to the wildlife managers, the calf's injuries were consistent with domestic dog bites. Unfortunately this calf had to be destroyed due to the severity of the injuries.
