Have you ever left the campus library late at night only to experience concern over getting to your vehicle or dorm safely? There's no need to walk alone.

Colorado Mesa University offers the Safe Walk Program, providing assistance when crossing campus during late hours.

The Safe Walk Program is available during the fall and spring semesters. Between the hours of 6 p.m. and 2 a.m., seven days a week, students, faculty, and staff can call to have a trained Campus Safety Assistant escort them anywhere on the main campus or up to two blocks off campus.

This program is a joint effort between the CSA and the Grand Junction Police Department. It is available to anyone with a CMU ID.The program is absolutely free.

Service is available by calling the CSA at 970-260-2683.
