Sunday, August 21, at around 11 a.m. a Colorado man drove his vehicle into a parked car at more than 70 m.p.h.

Inside the vehicle was the man's 2-year-old son, Isaiah. The child, who was not buckled in properly, needed 20 stitches, suffered a concussion and a broken leg. Doctors say he will be fine.

As for the father, he has now admitted to authorities that he purposefully tried to kill his infant son because the responsibility was too much. The man has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, child abuse resulting in bodily injuries, second-degree assault, criminal mischief and vehicular assault.

Earlier in the day, the father was at the park thinking of ways to kill his son. Allegedly on cocaine at the time, he decided to place his son in the car without his safety seat and crash the car.

There has been a GoFundMe account set up for Isaiah's medical bills.
