Colorado City Passes New Pot Law

Is Grand Junction behind the times? One Colorado city just passed a new law dealing with marijuana.

While Grand Junction and Mesa County, over all, still refuse to change or update their marijuana policies, Denver has just become the first city in the country to allow people to use marijuana in public.

Proposition 300 will allow restaurants and bars to allow use of marijuana in their businesses. There are a couple of restrictions, of course.

• Patrons can use pot inside, but NOT smoke it. Outside smoking is a possibility.
• Must bring your own marijuana
