Colorado Mesa University president Tim Foster will be taking the stage to perform with the CMU Wind Symphony and their presentation of Copeland's "Lincoln Portrait."

The performance will honor of the 150th Anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's
"Emancipation Proclamation." The concert features the CMU Wind Symphony, directed by Dr. Calvin Hofer, with President Foster performing the narration.

"Lincoln Portrait" includes excerpts from Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. The piece was composed by Aaron Copeland in 1942 as part of the World War II patriotic effort.

This concert will be held Thursday, March 14th at 7:30 pm in the Robinson Theatre at the Moss Performing Arts Center.
