Forget about the idea of taking your Easter candy to work next week, because the chances are it won't last until Monday.

A new survey, reported by Rochdale News,  indicates 37% of us eat our Easter candy in one sitting, while another 15% will have it gone by Sunday night. It's funny how at Halloween we make the kids spread out their candy eating over several days - or weeks, but we just can't resist those chocolate peanut butter eggs and chocolate bunnies.

A lot of us are concerned about the calories we may be consuming and what all this Easter goodness may do to the waist line. But, the real concern probably should be what possible detrimental affect all this sugar can  have on our teeth. It's been suggested that eating large amounts of candy in a short period of time is less harmful to teeth than candy consumed regularly over a long period.

Maybe the Easter Bunny will stash a toothbrush, floss, and fluoride toothpaste in the basket with all the goodies - and maybe an introductory card to Weight Watchers.
