California Bans The Retail Sale Of Dogs And Cats

I think California is onto something when I first read this story it made me so happy. There are so many dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, that need homes. Just go to the local shelter and see for yourself. I have gotten all my dogs from a shelter. Both my dogs have since passed on by I had them for like 12 years.

California is the going to ban all sales of dogs, cats, and rabbits to cut down on breeding mills. The new law will let pet stores sell animals from shelters. So many abandoned animals will now get a forever home.
California law, however, will still let you buy from breeders directly just not from pet stores.
I do go into pet stores, but it has been a long time since I have seen a dog or a cat in them. Maybe this will catch on in other states hopefully and give more animals good homes.
