Blake Shelton Loves Surprise Birthday Cake From Fruita Woman

Heidi Williams of Fruita, Colo took on the challenge to wow Blake Shelton with a 40th birthday cake. Her guitar cake was a hit. Gwen Stefani loved it so much she even added several Snapchats of the cake.

Williams did her research before making Shelton's 40th birthday cake. She watched an interview about regrets he had before turning 40 and his biggest regret was not holding on to memorabilia along the way, specifically mentioning his black Takamine cutaway guitar. Since she couldn't get that exact guitar for him, Williams thought she would do the next best thing.

With all the details added to the cake, Williams said it took her over 20 hours to make. The time and effort were well worth it to Williams when Shelton gave her a big hug, thanking her for the cake.
