Looking for something new to take to that backyard get together or church pot luck? Look no further! Montgomery Gentry hooked us up with one of their favorite summer recipes!

Now that I look at the ingredients maybe you'd better NOT take this one to the Church Pot Luck! I shoulda' known that any recipe from these guys would contain liquor!

JIM BEAM DIPPING SAUCE FOR STRAWBERRIES

Ingredients:
  • 2 pints strawberries
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoon Jim Beam® Bourbon

Directions:

  • Wash the strawberries, but do not hull*
  • Combine the remaining ingredients and whisk until smooth
  • Use as a dipping sauce for the strawberries
  • Makes 3 cups

*Since I'm new to cooking I actually had to look up what this meant! Hulling strawberries means removing the green stem from the top of the berry.

Hope you enjoy it as much as my family and I have!
