If you enjoy visiting the different sites of the Museums of Western Colorado, here is your chance to become an expert with these free classes. This five-week course will allow you to experience Dinosaur Journey, Cross Orchards Historic Site and the main Museum of the West like never before. 

History is always an important part of any community. Here is Western Colorado we have the added benefit of being a major source of knowledge of millions of years ago with the Dinosaur quarries in our backyard. Now you have the opportunity to learn the behind the scene secrets of Grand Junction's history.

This five-week course called the Museum Education Class will start on Monday, February 6, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Whitman Education Center located at 248 S. Fourth Street in Grand Junction.  Classes will be held at the various locations that you will be learning about. 

The schedule of events for the Museum Education Class is:

2/6: Intro to the Museums
2/13: Dinosaur Journey
2/20: Cross Orchards
3/1: Museum of the West
3/6: Final wrap-up/how you can help
3/7 (optional): Graduation/certification ceremony
