If you own a vintage motorcycle, why not fire that thing up and show it off? The annual Vintage Motorcycle Days returns to Palisade on Saturday, June 4th. Tons of vintage bikes will be on display at this free, family friendly event. Why not be a part of it?

This is the perfect excuse to take that old blanket off your motorcycle, tune it up (the motorcycle, not the blanket), and let it enjoy a little sunshine and fresh air. The Western Colorado Vintage Motorcycle Association hosts this annual event showcasing motorcycles from across the country. To participate in the show, bikes must be at least 25 years old. All makes are welcome.

You can register your bike for several categories. Trophies are awarded for Best Domestic, Best Foreign, Best In Show, People's Choice, and several other categories.. In the event your motorcycle isn't a masterpiece, there is the "Best Rat Bike" category.

In addition to motorcycles, you'll find live music with the Desert Flyer Band, fun for the kids, and all the great downtown Palisade merchants. While you're there, be sure to visit the awesome restaurants and shops in the downtown area.

The event is free. If you have a vintage bike and would like to put it on display, there is no fee to participate. If you would like to enter your bike in the judging, there is a nominal registration fee. The registration fee and all proceeds from the event go towards Operation Interdependence.

If you want to show your bike at this event, please let them know you're coming by contacting them at www.westerncovintage.com. The event gets underway at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 4, at 3rd and Main in downtown Palisade.
