Are You Left Handed? Today Is Left-Handers Day

Are you left-handed? My sister is, and in school, they always tried to make her write right handed. How difficult that was for her.

Apparently, there is only 10 percent of the world population that is left-handed. Because most people are right-handed, there were those that thought to be left-handed was evil, or you were mentally ill. I remember a story a friend of mine told me that when she was growing up her teacher taped her hand to her side so she wouldn't sue it.

Now it is a sign of being creative! My sister can golf left, and right-handed, and writes with both the left and the right hand.

Look at Mickey Mantle he did the same thing batted left and right.

Rejoice in your difference and celebrate your uniqueness. Today is International left-handers day!
