If you're looking for a job, this is a great way to find one. The Mesa County Workforce Center has 50 employers participating in the Fall JobFest Job Fair this week.

The job fair is on Thursday, October 4 at the Mesa County Workforce Business Center at 512 29 1/2 Road in Grand Junction. The job fair is from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. with 9 a.m to 9:30 a.m. exclusively for veterans and attendees of the Workforce Center Job Fair Boot Camp.

The Boot Camp is on Monday, October 1 from 10 a.m. until Noon. Pre-Registration is not required. Attendees should bring paper, a notepad or something else to write on as well as a pen or pencil to take notes.

The Monday workshops are 30 minutes in length and will cover the following topics.

  • The Dos and Don'ts of an online Application
  • Targeting Your Resume - Why One Size Does Not Fit All
  • Interviewing - Bring Your Best Foot Forward
  • Networking - Why Social Connections are Important
