5 Spectacular Heroism Fails [LIST]

In this very cynical, pacifistic society, one has to truly appreciate a great heroic gesture. Unfortunately, some of those heroic efforts occasionally go haywire. Check out Cracked's list of "The 5 Most Spectacularly Failed Attempts at Heroism."

On the negative side, my personal hero Phoenix Jones, a superhero from Seattle and leader of the Rain City Superhero Movement, made the list. On the positive side, though, his exposure on this list resulted in 300 new "Friends" on his facebook page.
