The Messiah Choral Society of Grand Junction invites you to join them for a free Easter performance of Handel's Messiah this Sunday at Grand Junction High School's auditorium. Have other plans? Here are five great reasons why you dare not miss this incredible concert.

Every year, the members of the Messiah Choral Society of Grand Junction, along with various instrumentalists from the Grand Junction Symphony Orchestra, gather to present this free concert in celebration of Easter. The show is always free and open to the public.

There are many things you can do on an Easter Sunday, including hunting eggs with the kids, getting together with family for dinner, and enjoying a peaceful day off. The great thing about this concert is - you can still do all of those things, and attend the concert.

Downbeat for the concert is at 2:30PM, leaving you plenty of time in the morning, and plenty of time in the evening to enjoy other plans.

This year's performance features conductor Dr. Monte Atkinson, vocal soloists Katherine Peck, Soprano, Clea Huston, Alto, Eapen Leubner, Tenor, Malcolm Ulbrick, Bass, and Concertmaster Alejandro Gomez Guillen and Harpsichordist Misty Sothers.
