Some of country music's hottest acts completely lost it after the 2018 ACM Awards nominations were announced on Thursday (March 1).

Keith Urban, Thomas Rhett, Maren Morris, Chris Young and more turned to social media to react to their nominations in various categories. Country veterans like Lady Antebellum and Little Big Town have seen it all before, and they leaned toward humble, gracious and restrained posts, while some of the more entertainingly enthusiastic reactions came courtesy of newcomers including Brett Young, Carly Pearce and Devin Dawson.

"...Is this what it feels like to be the luckiest guy alive?!" Young writes.

"CANT. BREATHE," Pearce shares next to a crying emoji in response to the news that she's nominated for New Female Vocalist of the Year, while Dawson posts, "As if last night on @fallontonight wasn’t enough to make my head explode... I woke up to this too!"

Chris Stapleton leads the nominations with a total of eight, and Rhett has six. Urban is up for five awards, and Miranda Lambert is tied with Maren Morris with four ACM Awards nominations apiece in 2018. Sam Hunt, Little Big Town and Midland are all up for three ACM Awards this year.

The 2018 ACM Awards are set for April 15, 2018. They will broadcast live on CBS from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, with Reba McEntire returning to host the ceremony.
