The 2017 CMA Awards nominations will be announced on Monday (Sept. 4). Who do you think ought to be nominated for Album of the Year?

Chris Stapleton is almost certain to be one of the names read on Monday when the CMA Awards nominees are announced. His From A Room: Vol. 1 is one of the year's best-selling and most critically acclaimed releases, and it wouldn't be a big stretch to see him at the podium accepting the award in November, either.

Brad Paisley's Love and War seems like a likely candidate for an Album of the Year nomination, and so does Reba McEntire's Sing It Now: Songs of Faith and Hope, her first gospel collection. Brett Young is a newer name, but his self-titled debut album is chock-full of great songs including the breakout hit "In Case You Didn't Know," and he could be a dark horse contender for Album of the Year. If you haven't seen Young's jaw-dropping cover of "Hallelujah" from Taste of Country's 2017 RISERS shoot, you need to.

Aaron Watson isn't as mainstream a name as some, but his Vaquero album could very well get the nod, and Willie Nelson, Brantley Gilbert, Little Big Town and Zac Brown Band have all delivered nod-worthy albums in the last year, too. Lady Antebellum may get mentioned for their current album, Heart Break, which revitalized them after a yearlong break.

Which country artists would you like to see nominated for Album of the Year in the 2017 CMA Awards? Vote below as often as once an hour from now until Monday (Sept. 4) at 8AM ET. The top five vote-getters will serve as the fan consensus.

Dustin LynchLauren Alaina and Brothers Osborne are set to announce the 2017 CMA Awards nominees on Monday as part of a special Good Morning America broadcast. The 2017 CMA Awards will air Wednesday, Nov. 8 on ABC. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are teaming to co-host for the tenth time.
